Gemma Burditt is an award-winning animation director and illustrator working in artist research, installation, digital books and projection design.

Recent projects include: Future Landscapes, an installation incorporating illustration and digital animation examining the complexities of the Northumbrian landscape working with local land-based businesses depicting how their decisions are affecting how landscape is evolving in response to the impending climate crisis. The Art of Milk, an animated mural exploring the evolution of the dairy industry, how businesses have evolved and the complex ecology that surrounds an increasingly industrialised process. Shown as part of the Milk exhibition, Wellcome Trust London (2023). Through the Hawthorn: a multi-award winning animation funded by Wellcome Trust.
