Tracing Topographies: Making sense of now and what came before.
Hannah Ackroyd is an Illustrator and Lecturer at Leeds Arts University and previously studied BA (hons) Illustration Animation at Kingston School of Art (2019). Hannah’s practice-led research explores mnemonic processes, referencing places and their heritage through bookmaking, photography, illustration and writing. Hannah received a scholarship from the photography school IC Visual Lab (Bristol, 2020) and is represented by Wondering People. Hannah exhibits work nationally and internationally and regularly publishes her artist books including recent titles: ‘A Cusp of Words for Conversations Held’ (2023), ‘It Is Solved by Walking’ (2022), & ‘Pondering Reply - A Driftwood Obelisk’ (Salt & Pepper Press, 2021).
