Archaeological Visualisation as Heuristic Device: Case study of the Middle Bronze Age Temple at Pella, Jordan

Katy Sentas completed her PhD in early 2024 at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research is focused on the visualisation of archaeological sites, which was inspired by her work in the field as an archaeological illustrator on projects based in Jordan, Cyprus and Greece. Her research encompasses the use of illustration, photogrammetry, 3D modelling and Game Engines. Kathirine also holds a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration from the University of Newcastle, and a Bachelor of Communication Design from James Cook University. Kathirine is currently employed as a Special Collections Support Librarian at the University of Newcastle Library.
