Lydia Hounat is a British-Algerian writer and photographer from Manchester. Her work has previously appeared in TOLKA Journal, Wasted Books’ Copy: An Anthology of Recycled Materials, MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture Journal, and HOBART. She studied on the Writing MA at Royal College of Art. Her PhD is in 'Intergenerational Healing in Kabyle Women’s Poetry' at Falmouth University and University Arts London. Notes of a Mongrel’s DNA (2023) is her debut collection from Hesterglock Press.
